Ask for help. Asking for help is the lesson, habit, message to be learned from Og Mandino’s last scroll in his book The Greatest Salesman In The World. We all possess a natural instinct to ask for help. When we are deep trouble, we ask for help. When we know we have done something terribly wrong we ask for forgiveness.
The lesson to be learned here and the habit to be formed is that we need to ask for help in the proper way. I want you to think about this for a minute. Isn’t it natural for us to ask for money, things and the success in our home based franchise? Do you ever think about asking for the guidance needed to get our money, things and success? My answer to you is probably not.
Yes, we all want money, the best of the best and huge success in our home based franchise, but the way to ask for these things is to ask for the guidance on how to get what we want to receive.
We all know that more than likely our goals and dreams are not going to automatically be dropped at our doorstep without a bit of work on our part. But so many times we just do not know how to start; which path to take and which way to turn in our lives and in our careers.
My suggestion is to ask your higher power for guidance; pray to your higher power on how you might start to achieve the success and goals that you desire for your home based franchise and for your life.
If you are asking for a million bucks, don’t ask for the million bucks; ask for the guidance on which action steps are going to be necessary to receive a million dollars. Ask for the necessary direction and it will then be given to you. Keep your eyes open for that direction and remember, sometimes the direction that is needed for the success in your home based franchise and the attainment of your goals may come in disguises that are not always welcome on the surface.
For your home based franchise to see success, for your goals to be realized and your desires to be made you must also make the commitment to yourself that you are willing and able to do whatever it takes to be that success, achieve those goals and reach the desires of your dreams.
If you are willing and able to do whatever it takes, when the necessary direction is given to you, you will then be able to take that direction no matter how challenging it might be. At the end of the challenge will be the top prize: your wealth, your home based franchise success and the achievement of whatever goals you desire.
See you at the top.

The Greatest Story Ever Sold
Back in the late 1980’s, the Honda Motor Company ran a memorable series of commercials, the basic premise of which was that the company’s cars were so amazing, they sold themselves. This commercial’s “hook” was that it featured a salesman who was bored out of his mind and had nothing to do because the cars were so in demand they were practically walking off the lot. The brand’s slogan at the time was “Honda, the car that sells itself.” Ha!

Decision-Maker or Decision-Faker?
Excerpt from the book "Chase the Championship - Kicking Ass, Taking Names and Becoming a Dealmaker!" Stay far away from the boss’s underlings when you are in search of a decision. The heads of Marketing, IT, Human Resources, or whoever else is part of the “decision-making chain” for the product or service that you are selling should never be the people that you go after for a commitment.
