The record-setting statistics are impressive but nothing compares to the journey between the two Mountains providing a 360-degree window into Whistler Blackcomb's alpine environment, The glass bottomed Gondolas (two on each run) offer a spectacular view as you travel across the span. Of course the other Gondolas are solid bottomed for those with a fear of heights.

Whistler village itself is pedestrian friendly with an abundance of restaurants, spas and a variety of shopping. I myself have been to Whistler many times, I'm not a skier myself but my grandkids are into skiing and snowboarding big time and love it there. I have to say I did try out some activities I never thought I would, I snowshoed down the mountain, and tried my hand at snowmobiling, I loved it.
