Who Are Spirit Guides

Once in a physical body, Spirit Guides are masters at helping you achieve your life goals. Keeping in mind that you really are the creator of your universe, Spirit Guides try to steer you toward your original goal that was originated prior to your physical birth. There are always bumps and hurdles to overcome in any lifetime, but those are usually put there because of your actions and may or may not indicate additional karma. Your spirit guides help you to overcome this or succeed in completing the karma from past actions, words, or deeds.

Different belief systems believe that we have anywhere from 1 to 5 or even more Guides upon physical birth. And then there are also Spirit Guides that help you temporarily to succeed in learning a specific goal or task, who then leave once the task is completed.

When I was first on my spiritual path and learned about Spirit Guides, I would test them in an effort to prove to myself their validity. I would ask for a sign of proof and would always receive it. I often tell my development students to do the same thing if they are having issues believing that there are those in spirit actually able and willing to help them along their pathway.

Give your guides a simple test such as… Show me the name of my mother. Then throughout your day go about your normal business. You may see your mother’s name written on a billboard, you may hear her name in a song, or you may overhear a conversation where your mother’s name is mentioned. Be open to receiving your sign from spirit in any possible way.

Your Spirit Guides are overjoyed when you realize their participation in your life and are more than willing to help you in any situation that you’re facing. They will not, however, take away your free will or your own obligation to completing the tasks that you have set forth for this lifetime. So do the work and grow as a spiritual being to the best of your ability knowing that you could always call upon your friends on the spiritual realm.
