I teach hundreds of people about the Law of Attraction and how whatever we put our attention, energy and focus on is what we attract back into our lives. Whether it’s negative or positive. So why do tragic things happen to innocent people? According to the Law of Attraction is it because these people were putting their attention, energy and focus on it?

The answer is yes and no. Firstly, there are people who are very nice and sweet and kind and giving who can still give off a negative energy. They may be focusing on what they don’t want or what they don’t like. They may be so busy giving and helping others that they feel tired or overwhelmed. Remember, the Law of Attraction picks up on the energy and feeling you give off, not on the act itself.

When something tragic happens like a terrorist attack or a mass shooting, I think there’s a bigger answer. I believe these catastrophic things happen to wake us up. Many people go through the motions of life and are in such an “unconscious” routine. They get up, go to work, come home, rinse and repeat. Sadly it takes a mass shooting, a terrorist attack or a deadly storm to awaken people and shake them out of their robotic state. Only then do they realize that they don’t like the way things are or no longer want to accept mediocrity. We become “conscious” and realize that things need to change. We start talking about stricter gun laws, tighter security or better systems to put in place.

I live my life being a deliberate creator every day. It has become my mission to help others be deliberate creators in their lives too. While I teach many people how to attract their ideal career, life partner, more clients, more money etc. I also provide the tools and skills to create the world you want to live in and leave behind for your children.

We have the power to literally change the world. To shift the global consciousness and create a more peaceful and loving place to live. But it has to start with you. Look at your life and pay attention to your emotions. Where do you feel unhappy, unfulfilled, dishonoured, disrespected and mistreated? Work on cleaning up these areas and positively changing what isn’t working for you. When you have inner peace, you project outer peace. And the more love and peace we can put out into the world, the better all our lives will be.

Action Challenge

Take some time to think about what kind of world you want to live in? Visualize it or write it down. Then do the internal work to set the positive energy in motion.
