Why Do People Feel it’s Necessary to Be Fearful?

According to A Course in Miracles, the answer is that humanity feels it is un-deserving of God's love. We feel it is necessary to punish ourselves before God punishes us. Mass consciousness feels God is a punishing and unforgiving Supreme Intelligence and if we attack ourselves first, we won't have to have God punish us. It is erroneous thinking to think this is so but some choose to believe this is so.

Many people don't realize being fearful turns us against ourselves, creating toxic havoc against ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We are mistaken and we can change that thought pattern to one of fearlessness, just by believing things can be different, can be better and that things are different right now.

Being attached to error thought does not have to be permanent. We can decide now to release ourselves from being fearful. Sometimes the fear thought pattern could seem to be so embroiled within our consciousness molecules that we don't believe we can ever be free. But that thought can be dismissed as soon as we think it by not claiming it as our own thought anymore. It's a thought pattern, a thought system created by ego and is no longer able to be worn by us anymore, like an old garment we used to love but can't wear anymore because it's out of style, out of sync with our new thought vibration.

When we make the choice to decide not to be full of anything but God energy, God love, God light, it cannot be any other way. Why? Because we have claimed this new existence, right here and right now. We will find we have made this decision with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and that decision shall stand.

Deciding to be free from the fear of poverty will automatically put you into action steps to prove to yourself you no longer lack any good thing. Deciding to be free of the fear of public speaking, will automatically put you into or make available to you action steps to prove to yourself you love public speaking because you will have raised your self-esteem, you believe in yourself now, you love yourself now and the Universe will reflect that vibrational energy back to you to confirm your belief.

Deciding you no longer need to choose to be a thief, a murderer, a liar, an adulterer, a scoundrel, a person people loathe, a glutton etc, always draws unto you, the solution for you through action steps that make you feel comfortable. Here again, once you make a decision, the Holy Spirit agrees with you and sees that your decision is upheld and stands as truth for you. Your life now is on its way to making miracles available to you and others on a consistent basis. You become the light bearer of truth through your works, your words, your attitude, and your consciousness.

You free others as well as yourself because others will recognize that you are their "saviour", you are the Light that can show them the Way.
