“Why Do We Feel Guilt and Shame?”

I happened to be talking to a good friend and showed him a spiritual quote and he all of a sudden felt guilty. And I thought that was an unusual way to react… because everyone else thought it was very uplifting.

Lots of people feel guilty, it’s a normal way of life for many people. In fact, I can see aura myself… and all around me, I see lots of people with guilt and shame. In fact, the majority of people have guilt and shame, more than 80%.

Guilt and shame have been drilled into us at home, at school, and throughout society in general. Even comments from public figures make us feel guilt and shame. But we can overcome all of this guilt and shame and love ourselves it’s easy.

Love for ourselves many times is thought of as narcissistic. But that’s not true at all! I order to feel confident, powerful, full of energy, and full of ability to go out and help others… we need to love for ourselves.

Plus how can we love anyone else if we don’t love the one we see in the mirror?

It’s not possible!

All this guilt and shame does not belong to us.

It belongs to all the people who have pushed their guilt and shame upon us.

It’s time to let go of all that guilt and shame and step out into the light and feel powerful and loving towards ourselves and everyone else.

It’s time to be who we are deep down inside… Amazing People!

It’s time to take our place… as People Who Can Accomplish Anything!

It’s time to free ourselves of this ball and chain.

It’s time to love one another.

Whenever you feel shame or guilt affirm to yourself “I am Powerful” and allow that feeling to pass.
