Why I Don't Drink Bottled Or Filtered Water and Why You Shouldn't, Either

Most of the intelligent, educated people I know either have bottled water delivered to their homes or they have water filters to ensure that their drinking and cooking water is good for their health. But what most of them don’t know is that bottled water is often just as bad for their health as tap water, and almost all tap water has toxic substances in it. Toxic means it is poisonous to the body, regardless of what the local water agency claims.
And water filters, including the reverse osmosis kind, just aren’t good enough to provide the pure water your body needs in order to stay healthy.
Even drinking water that meets standards set by the federal government’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is allowed to contain certain amounts of toxic substances such as mercury, lead and a whole bunch of other toxins that damage the brain, nervous system and major organs of the body! And they call that “protection!”
But if that weren’t bad enough, even tap water is required to meet much higher standards and is subject to much more stringent testing than commercially bottled water. In fact, the bottled water industry has been allowed to regulate itself - which means that each company is permitted more or less to set its own standards and you can easily guess what that means in terms of water quality.
One survey by the government’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found that nearly one third of the fifty-some brands of bottled water they tested were tainted with bacteria! And almost a third used poor manufacturing practices! Drinking bottled water is like playing Russian Roulette; you might be better off just drinking tap water because you can’t be sure of what you’re getting from even the expensive designer waters.
So what can you do to ensure that you’re getting pure water for your body’s good health? You can do what I do and switch to drinking and cooking with distilled water.
Distilled water is made by boiling ordinary water to produce steam, killing bacteria, viruses, parasites and cysts in the process, and leaving behind dissolved salts, heavy metals, solids and other substances. Then it is condensed back into water and passes through a filter to remove volatile organic compounds. What’s left is pure water, the kind your body thrives on.
I like to add about a quarter teaspoon of electrolytic minerals per gallon, preferably Himalayan salt, to restore the water’s ability to conduct electricity - its zeta charge.
I encourage you to do your body a big favor and switch to distilled water as soon as possible to ensure yourself of a long, healthy life.
