With half of my house cleaning tasks completed on Tuesdays, the downstairs remains for Wednesday's.
At the end of the day, the heavy lifting for the week will, for the most part, be done.
Opportunities to take on time-consuming projects during the remaining 4 days exist, but can be undertaken at my discretion.
Unlike Monday and Tuesday, my blocks of time for today need to change since I have completed the laundry, with the exception of bath towels.
Finished laundry, coupled with a break from extracurricular activities, leads me to believe that I can get control over the day relatively easily.
Here is how I plan on Wielding My Wednesdays:

After completing the tasks that were allotted for Tuesday, Wednesday's schedule is pretty much set.
All I need to do is finish cleaning the house and steam the wrinkled laundry.
Having a night off from the kid's extracurricular activities also allows us to catch up on homework.
Now I feel like I have some breathing room to focus on more enjoyable projects for the rest of the week.
