Wireless TV – The Difference Between the 2.4 GHz and the 5.8 GHz Cable TV Extenders

If you are thinking to buy a cable TV extender to get a wireless TV signal into another set in a different area of the house it is very important to take into consideration the area that you are living in and the materials of the walls of the home. • This is not recommended for use in an area where there are a lot of wireless traffic like wireless internet, baby monitor and the like.
5.8 GHz Cable Extender for Wireless TV
• This is good for long distance of up to 300 feet (91.44 meters) as long as the TV is directly in sight. If it is within a building, it will only be good for 100 feet (30.48 meters).
• If the extenders are to be placed inside an apartment, townhouse or a condominium where the other homes have their own wireless gadgets, then there is less interference compared to the 2.4 GHz.
