I allowed circumstances and events to stop me, get in my way…
They made me believe lies about myself…
Made me think that the dreams in my heart had to be killed off and buried…
Made me think that I was not good enough to get what I wanted…
That I was unloved by everyone, INCLUDING my higher power and this, of course, meant that I could not access Him to ask for support and my next move…
Made me believe it was bad to have and enjoy sex which of course, dampened down any winning drive I had…
Made me believe that the mistakes I had made, once upon a time, now meant that I could not impact and make the millions I KNEW I was born to make…
Made me believe that I could not be the champio I knew in my heart of heart, that I was created to be…
Made me believe in the lies that a world, so determined to keep us living as minions, was selling me…
And I see you falling for the same nonsense…
You forgot that you were a winner, have always been one and will ALWAYS be one…
You think that you have to explain yourself to the ‘norms’ around you…
You think that their opinion even matters when it comes to the desires in your heart…
And so you have been acting defeated…
Trying to please everyone…
Wondering why you cannot seem to be settled inside of yourself with the status quo..
It is because honey, you are a BORN CHAMPION…
And you were not created to play small…
Everyone has a purpose…
Of course, they do…
But ours, includes standing out, being seen, calling out others to a higher place and because it does, it is the very place that has been attacked and dampened…
It is almost as though, we knew that if we could downplay that part of us then maybe we could be like other people…
Maybe we could find contentment in a role that life has given us but it never seemed to fit…
And we thought we were wrong for wanting what we wanted…
For not wanting to be the wives that they said we had to be…
Not wanting to be the dampened-down men they wanted us to be…
Not wanting to be the wallflowers they wanted us to be…
That they were comfortable with…
We were not happy with that…
We can never be happy with that…
WE SIMPLY WANT IT ALL and I think that finally, FINALLY, you are getting to the place where you are READY to accept that and to live from that and to stop trying to be what anyone else wants…
ARE YOU, LEADER?
Your wimpy ways need to just go…
I see you acting all strong, ruffling a few feathers but now it is time to really focus, really direct that energy to actually create something amazing for you and for yours…
