You Are Not Created To Be A Slave!

Some people are under the impression that they are ants, worms, slaves for a huge deity who wants nothing but to belittle them and make them helpless and completely dependent on him/her. And needless to say, these people struggle ALL THE TIME! And instead of taking matters into their own hands and doing something to repair the trials they find themselves facing, they wait on a voice from the heavens to tell them what to do next. How crazy is that! The thing is, it does not seem crazy when you are in the midst of such silly religious thinking… It feels like the right thing to do! And they can even quote scripture or some other religious text telling me why they must act and believe in this way! And I kinda pity these people because I used to be this way. Passively waiting for a deity to come save me… Sacrificing everything that I was, in the name of appeasing this ‘god’… WHAT UTTER NONSENSE! Finally, I got to using my brain – my God-Given Brain! And I realised that I had everything I needed to prosper. Yes, I could tap into the wisdom of a higher power because of course, his thoughts are nothing like mine… I am limited in the my experience of the way the world works as I am only aware of the 36 years I have lived on the planet so it would be wise to listen into the wisdom and the thinking of a power that has been here since before I can imagine. Of course there is wisdom in that… And yet, does that make me wormlike? and bad? and sinful? NOPE! I am still powerful, strong and capable and in fact, it is only as I see myself as good that I will be able to do the work I feel designed to do. My will is never taken away from me… I never need to defer to anyone or anything to the detriment of my own self respect. In truth, the only way I get to live a fulfilling life is when I step fully into my power and own the GREAT person I am created to be and that is not pride, it is just a statement of fact. I am created in the image of God and so are you! You are created to reign, to have dominion and yet, you keep trying to claim to be some kind of a slave with no will of your own. Is it any wonder that you never feel completely fulfilled? You may have created some wealth but you always feel like there is a cap on you because you are internally scared of whether you are allowed to be strong… Will your deity not like it? As though his power can ever be undermined by yours! He is who He is… Nothing can take away from that! You are who you are! And nothing can take away from that either! Be partner with God, not slave to the whims of a fickle deity! Start questioning everything you have considered to be true! Stop stifling yourself because you are scared to face some of the deeper thinking that will really set you free.
