As you read this article there are hundreds of thousands people that are unhappy with their job, finacial situation and income capabilities. Are you one of them? The truth is if you are able to read this article then you have what it takes to be able to change any of those things in just a few short weeks. What does it take? It will require hard work, commitment, patience, ability to follow instructions and a burning desire to become financially free.

The internet provides over one million plus people with an income of $60,000 or more per year. Thats $1,154 a week, $165 a day, $21 an hour (based on 8 hours a day, most interenet entreuprenuers work an average of 4 hours a day). After reading these facts, doesn't it inspire you to want to do the same?

The great part about all this is that you can, you can make a comfortable living using the internet.

There are many ways to go about earning money online. Some people join a networking program, others use Ebay and other online auctions, and some use the internet as a way to promote their already existing business to a broader customer base.

Earning a Living online is not all fun and games. There are rules and guide lines to internet success. Here are a few of my best pointers for anyone getting started online.

1. Be Prepared to work your behind off. The first few months can be the toughest, you will find out that in order to really earn any money you will have to treat your business as a business and not a hobby. You will learn what works and what doesnt, and you will learn from your own mistakes that you WILL make. Dont get discouraged if you dont see $1500 your first week, just keep pluging away.

2. If you are going to join an online marketing system please, I repeat please do the research on both the opportunity and your sponsor. Try things like typing your sponsors complete name into a search engine like google, if you dont find anything productive or reputable under this person do not join. their are allot of scams out there, dont get cought in one. I always have my prospects type my complete name into google that way they can see who I am and what I have done. Remember, research.

3. Be prepared to spend some money on advertising. Think about it, you cant make any money unless people know you are there and what you are offering. Budget a sensable amount of cash for advertising monthly.

4. Help enough people get what they want in life and you will have everything you could ever want. If you are providing a product your first priority should be how your product can help the person purchasing it, same goes if you are offering a service.

5. This is one people dont like to hear, but in order to have any real success on the internet you must learn to sell. If you are not a eople person you must quickly learn to become one, if you hate selling learn to love it. Selling is the art of creating so much value in your product or service that people are HAPPY to purchase what you have to offer. there are thousands, maybe millions of resources you can use to help make you a better sales person. Seminars from sales experts, books, newsletters and so on.

Back in the late 1980’s, the Honda Motor Company ran a memorable series of commercials, the basic premise of which was that the company’s cars were so amazing, they sold themselves. The brand’s slogan at the time was “Honda, the car that sells itself.” Ha!

Excerpt from the book "Chase the Championship - Kicking Ass, Taking Names and Becoming a Dealmaker!" Stay far away from the boss’s underlings when you are in search of a decision. The heads of Marketing, IT, Human Resources, or whoever else is part of the “decision-making chain” for the product or service that you are selling should never be the people that you go after for a commitment.
