There comes a time in everyone’s life when you start to feel a little nudge in your soul that questions your set of reality. We either entertain it, and start questioning and looking for answers beyond the physical, or we ignore it until we become adept at silencing it.

There are naturally several opportunities for spiritual awakening that everyone experiences in their lives. At the very least there seems to be 2 for the majority of people, the first around the ages of 18-23 and the second around 38-50.

You came here with a greater soul purpose and it’s your soul’s job to try and nudge and awaken that within your consciousness.

The first time is when you are actually capable of understanding and grasping abstract ideas, because your brain development has finally achieved the ability to do this.

The second time is when you’ve come to a point in your life when you’ve done everything you were “suppose” to do, you’ve achieved what you thought was expected of you, yet still found yourself anywhere from not quite happy to feeling completely unsatisfied or empty. We find ourselves questioning everything and asking, “There has to be more to life than just this?”

Then the ultimate question rears it’s ugly head? What are you willing to do about it? Are you going to give up and finish up this life in quiet desperation pretending everything is ok and that you’re perfectly happy, or are you going to choose the road less traveled and respond to your soul’s urging and find the way of your own unique spiritual awakening?

But how do we do that? Do we look to the best new guru on self-improvement or enlightenment? Do we need to change our spiritual or religious belief system? Do we need to give up meat and become vegetarians? Do you need to give up all of your worldly possessions and join an ashram? It can all seem so complicated even a bit absurd to our logical minds.

The answer lies within your soul. Listen to your own soul’s urgings. Make friends with the silence and allow your soul to speak to you. It will lead you not only to what you are suppose to be doing here but also to the answers you so desperately seek.

Why Meditate? We all know that regular exercise is essential for our physical health but we often forget that meditation is essential for our mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Meditation gives us an opportunity to disidentify from our mind chatter and negative emotions and experience inner balance. It allows us to free ourselves from fear and suffering created by our ego-mind. A dedicated meditation practice can lead to increased self-acceptance, self-confidence, improved health, and deeper understanding of ourselves and others. What is Meditation?

I bet you're asking "How can I focus on the solution when I don't know what the solution is? I have this problem, how the heck am I supposed to feel good?" It's not always easy to make that shift from feeling negativity to feeling more positive but you cannot see the solution while in the depths of the problem. When you are so focused on the problem, your vibration is on the problem. The solution could be right in front of you but you CANNOT see it because you're not in vibrational harmony with it. You must shift your vibration so that the solution can come into your focus.
