About Aco Stairlifts

Aco Stairlifts is an international, family owned company, employing over 1,000 people worldwide, and its core business is the manufacture and sale of Aco Superglide electric stair lifts.

Aco has a network of over 1,000 authorized dealers throughout America as well as it's own Sales and Distribution centers in Florida, Massachusetts, Califo ia and Ontario, Canada.

As well as a significant presence in the United States, Aco Stairlifts also has offices in the United Kindom, Australia, Germany with authorized dealers for Aco Stair Lifts in virtually every country of the World.

The History of Aco Stairlifts
Aco Stair Lifts was formed in 1992 and the business started by buying, reconditioning and reselling stair lifts, as well as buying in new lifts from other manufacturers. Within a very short space of time, demand outstripped supply and other supply options had to be taken to maintain our commitment to exceptional customer service.

The obvious choice was to begin design and manufacture of Acorn's own stair lift. The Aco Superglide Stair Lift was born, soon to become a market leader, and to this day remains at the forefront of stair lift technology.
