If you feel depressed, listen to your inner dialogue
If you feel depressed, you may have an unhelpful inner critic who holds you to unreasonable standards in your everyday life. Your inner critic can create cognitive distortions by repeating unhelpful statements in your mind every day. You may directly experience your inner critic’s statements as your thoughts. However, these thoughts can run through your mind so fast that you may not even be aware of they exist. Rather the inner critic can affect you subconsciously.

Our anxious mind - How anxiety turns into addiction
Anxiety is a common complaint among people of all ages. The sources of their anxieties varies with each person. Some are anxious about everything, while others are anxious about a specific, narrow life issue such as job and money. Life transitions revisited: manage crisis
Life is hard at times. Everyone experiences emotional pain over the course of their entire life. Our pain comes from various crisis. A crisis may be “situational” and “maturational" or "developmental." Situational crsis refers to a sudden, accidental, frightening, and often catastrophic event that one can’t anticipate or control. Examples are physical illness and injury, loss or death of the loved one, assault, fatal accident, natural disaster, war, terrorist attack, separation/divorce, the loss of your job and severe economic depression to name a few.
