In 2007, the murder of a close family friend motivated her to increase stalking awareness and change the legislation surrounding the crime. Daffron utilized social media to gain the exposure necessary to change legislation. Angela's ability to help others overcome victimization has garnered media exposure on NBC Nightly News, ABC Nightly News, Fox News, CNN and Discovery Channel.
In 2008, Daffron successfully changed the laws in Kansas. New Mexico followed in 2009, and she continues her mission nationwide.
