Hi, Everybody. About three and half years ago, I was thirty pounds overweight. Not wanting to be overweight, I decided to do something about it. I acquired all kinds of information on how to lose weight by reading up on it. It all had to do with proper nutrition and exercise. I decided to take action and incorporate what I read into my own life by eating healthy foods and exercising. I'm glad I did because I have lost the weight and feel great. Now that I have lost the thirty pounds and feel absolutely wonderful, I am passionate about helping others become healthy and lose weight.

Since I have lost the weight, I am now working on becoming financially independent. Maybe you would be interested in becoming financially independent also. Strength training is a form of exercise where you build more muscle. Building muscle will help you lose weight because having more muscle increases your metabolism. For every pound of muscle you have, you burn between 7 and 15 calories per day while at rest. Most people will gain 2 to 5 pounds of muscle from strength training. So your at least burning 30 calories per day (3 pounds of muscle x 10 calories burned per pound). This adds up to 10950 calories burned a year (30 x 365). You need to bu 3500 calories in order to lose 1 pound of fat, so if you take 10950/3500=3 pounds.
