Ati Petrov

Born in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, Ati lived for 30 years behind the Iron Curtain, in a world of high ideals and totalitarian rule. Her world travels started early. She spent her childhood living and enjoying the ocean and sun in Cuba where her mother played at the National Orchestra and her father created his art. She learned English and Spanish and lived a care free life for nine wonderful years.

Back in Bulgaria, she studied Fine Arts and she had a brief career as a fine artist and illustrator, and was the youngest exhibitor at the International Graphic Art Biennale. She was also the Art Director for the Encyclopedic Publishing House in Sofia. She then set out on the adventure of her life, leaving her native country secretly and flying across the ocean to North America, all the way north to Newfoundland—a land of snow and wind and wonderful people. In 1991 she came to Ottawa, Canada where she currently resides.

Holistic Practice

During her studies at the Hahnemann College for Heilkunst, Ati worked also as an assistant at the clinic and school. Later as a tutor and practitioner at the HCH she helped develop the school and clinics.

During her training, and until 2005, Ati Petrov was also the administrative manager of NUPATH, the national homeopathic practitioners association of Canada. Her natural ability to organize and communicate with people has always been a gift to all those that have come in contact with her throughout the years.

Ati Petrov has been in private practice since 2001 as a co-founder of the Apple Hill Wholistic Center in Ottawa where she worked until 2005.

In 2003 Ati opened Real Medicine Holisstic Center, a second practice in Westboro, dividing her time between the two clinics.

She also conducted the Community Clinics created by the Hahnemann College for Heilkunst as a holistic service to the community.

In 2003 Ati trained in German New Medicine, a wonderful new medical view on disease, its causes and healing process. She incorporates this approach in her work today.

Another interesting addition and to her tools was the Inergetix-CoRe System of Informational and Energy healing. It is a tool for biofeedback therapy, the most advanced discovery in holistic health in the past 20 years. Always at the cutting edge of holistic research, she is constantly exploring new therapies and finding their best application for her clients.

Ati lives and practices in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, with her two children, dog and her many friends. She is healthy and happy in her home surrounded by parks, with a book in her hand and a laptop close at hand.
