Barbara Stennes

Barbara Stennes, CEO and Founder of de Bono Consulting, a Resources Unlimited company, is a well-known expert in innovation and creativity. As a business owner and consultant for over 20 years, she has helped hundreds of organizations worldwide to transform their culture.

Barbara has worked with organizations including Merck, Boeing, EMC, and USDA to implement deliberate, systematic processes from Dr. Edward de Bono that have helped them break away from their usual patterns of thinking, leading to dramatic results.

Barbara is one of only four Lifetime Certified de Bono Master Trainers worldwide. in Edward de Bono's Six Thinking Hats, Lateral Thinking, DATT, Focus on Facilitation, Simplicity, and Six Value Medals training courses.

In addition to her work with the de Bono Thinking Systems, Barbara is an Authorized Distributor for Inscape Publishing, the pioneer and leading provider of assessment-driven learning solutions, including the Online DiSC Classic Profile.

Barbara is 1 of only 30 Inscape Publishing Distributors certified by in the Everything DiSC Facilitation System. This certification by Inscape Publishing provides additional credentials that demonstrate Barbara's in-depth understanding of DiSC and its applications.

Prior to founding Resources Unlimited, Barbara held positions in sales, banking, health care, manufacturing, and education. She is a graduate of College of Business at The University of Iowa.
