Overview of Reiki

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) can be described as a method of stress reduction and relaxation which promotes general well-being. With its origins in Japan, the word “Reiki” translates as “Universally-guided life energy.” Reiki is utilized worldwide in pain clinics, hospitals, cancer centers, hospices, surgery wards and nursing homes, by visiting nurse associations and in psychotherapy.
