Dogs and cats are always keeping me company. At 54 they have taught me some of life's most important lessons.
Like being in the present--it's the best way to have a good understanding of any animal, and particularly those we know as companion animals.
There's communication without words. The expansion of awareness and other senses that are like different frequencies of a radio. They broadcast messages all the time. Being very aware of an intent to communicate can help allow you to understand the messages they broadcast.
Play time is vital to growth and understanding. As a workaholic I get to take many breaks and grab a leash or even a buggy for the cat who is supposed to have an indoor-only lifestyle, but loves the smells and sounds of the outdoors.
Time is too short. Since anger and love can't share the same space-time, I choose love as often as possible.
There are many other lessons my companion animals helped me with in my years, and many more to come.
Perhaps this won't position me as an expert in your eyes today, but as we get to know each other here, you will know that I care deeply for all animals' well being.
I am convinced they have a soul by all definitions of the word.
I would like to focus on a campaign to uplift states' legislation that treat animals' worth no greater tha "replacement value" in the event you need to make a claim as thousands tried during the last national pet food recall.
That was a real mess. It was unnecessary. Although it revealed the true nature (the one hidden behind the tv ads) of pet food companies, a post-disaster survey by Pet Age magazine revealed 70% of the public was still satisfied with their old pet food of choice. Only 30% were willing to look for an alte ative.
Before you assume where I am going with this just know that there are only 2 things we have control over when it comes to our companion animals health:
- Love
- Nutrition
My other expertise is marketing, but my passion is my love for the family pets and those I have come to know and remember since I was 4.
I included this content in my bio because it will be plain where I have been and where I will go from here regarding the care of pets.
There are so many great relationships I have uncovered in this industry. I am happy to be a part of it as a pet food distributor. I look forward to learning about you and your friends with paws.

P.S. Keep in the back of your mind that your pets don't have thumbs. They rely on you for everything.

My simple philosophy: If it is empty, fill it. If it is full, empty it. If it itches, scratch it.
Keep the main thing the main thing.
