Bishop CarolMaryBrigit

The Most Rev. Mother Carol (CarolMaryBrigit) Fleming is a validly consecrated (with apostolic succession) Bishop in the Independent Catholic tradition. She has studied and practiced Metaphysics for 29 years, been a Master Reiki Practitioner for 9 years, studied Hermetic and Judaic Qabbalah for 12 years. She has developed and facilitated workshops of empowerment in Texas, Colorado and Florida since 1988. Studying eastern and western theologies as well as practicing Christian, Goddess and Lakota Spirituality from the inside, she walks a braided path that honors and embraces all religions and spiritual paths.

She is one of the founding members and President of an inter-faith group, the Sacred Order of Universal Lightworkers (S.O.U.L.), Inc., a newly formed non-profit, which will be offering education, religious and charitable opportunities in Tampa and the surrounding region.

Having seen that all traditions carry a central truth of Divine Love, her vision is a world that works for everyone and everything with no one and nothing left out. Her mission is to foster and ground the conversation that enables the Understanding that Brings Peace.

She is also a spiritual artist in oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media and mosaics. She is married, has three children and a large extended family in Florida and Colorado. She graduated from USF in 1979 with a Bachelor of Engineering Technology, double majoring in Computer Programming and Business Administration. She grew up in Pinellas County and spent 18 years in the Southwest before coming back to Florida five years ago.
