I've been involved in health care since 1973, and gained my MA in counselling in 1993, with the PhD being awarded in 2006 for my research into the relationship between emotional health and physical health [Ischaemic Heart Disease] (Thesis can be read on www.personal-potential.co.uk).
I am particularly interested in chronic illness such as cancer and in helping survivors of abuse and trauma.
Additionally, I am Chair of Trustees of the UK charity National Cancer Support (Previously National Conference of Cancer Self Help Groups)
