Having suffered with panic disorder and OCD I became agoraphobic in my late teens. Determined not to go down the medication route I sought to educate myself and find alte ative ways out of the black hole. I received CBT and psychotherapy, and as a former psychology student found my journey a great way to learn more.
Having found my place of peace, I set up Uncovered Magazine the UK's first mental health mag to hit the newsstand; bringing experts, service users, celebrity and news features on mental health to the public. I am now launching www.mentalhealthy.co.uk - a one stop shop for mental health information. It is my passion to help others find what I have myself found.
