Many people tell me that they think they are too old to improve their American English skills, because they have been speaking with an accent for so long. I firmly believe that it is never too late to begin accent reduction training, and that you can certainly improve your speaking skills. It is hard work and takes a lot of effort, but in the long run, it is certainly worthwhile.
In this day and age, communicating effectively really is the key to our success. It only takes a few seconds to make a good first impression, and speaking clearly and confidently will take you a long way!
How to get started
I provide private accent reduction services to individuals from all over the world through live video conferencing and telephone classes. Because so many people are very busy with work and other activities, distance learning provides a time efficient and convenient way to teach.
All programs are customized for each individual and include every aspect of communciation, not just pronunciation. I believe that Speaking Your Best is different from other accent reduction services in the market today because it is completely customized for each individual. In addition to teaching how to improve American English, I also work with individuals on understanding the American culture, learning how to deal with difficult people in the workplace, as well as social language skills.
