Career Focus
Editor and owner of the Homemade Baby Food Recipes website

Christine is a mother of four - one boy and three girls.

When her first child started solid foods, Christine - unimpressed with commercially prepared baby foods - began making meals for her little daughter at home. As she added to her family, she also added to her range of homemade baby food recipes, creating meals that were both nutritious and delicious.

Christine has always believed that baby food does not have to be bland - and that introducing a wide variety of tastes and textures from an early age helps develop a sophisticated palate and avoids problems with 'picky eating' later on. Hence, many of her recipes included herbs and aromatic spices and incorporated ingredients not usually considered the 'norm' for baby food.

In 2005, Christine decided to share her extensive range of recipes and knowledge by creating her website - http://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com and has since received a huge amount of grateful messages from parents whose babies are happily enjoying an assortment of new and tasty foods.

Favorite Quotes & Thoughts from Christine Albury

To the world you may be one small person... but to one small person you may be the world.

I love this quote - and one of the most important things you can do for the 'small people' in your life is provide them with nutritious food that you have prepared yourself. That has been the motivation for making baby food myself and for sharing my knowledge with other parents via my website.
