Clive is the founder of SalesSense, a specialist sales training and business development firm, focused on the needs of people selling complex solutions to other businesses and organisations.

He is the author of of over twenty training courses covering a range of communication, management, and leadership topics as well as specialist sales skills and methods. He has written hundreds of articles and guides for sales leaders and designed templates and tools that are widely used to increase sales productivity, consistency, and results.

He started SalesSense in 1996 after a fifteen year career in sales and sales management roles. He sold technology and software solutions from IBM, Intel, Sun Microsystems, and Silicon Graphics. His early career involved the design and development of nuclear instrumentation.
