Dave Arena's unique comedy point of view is evident by his personal mantra:

Breathe, Laugh and Take Nothing Seriously

And he lives it every day.

He has laughed in the face of lawsuits, US Marshals beating down his door, multiple car crashes, failed businesses, completely stupid acts on his part (lots of stupid acts on his part), financial disasters; nothing can stop him from laughing and having fun.

He even laughed at his own Mother's funeral (she would have wanted it that way). He will be the first one to make fun of himself and quick to make fun of anything and anybody no matter what the situation.

"I've realized through my experiences that nothing is serious. And anything that happens is always for your higher good even if it seems "negative" or "bad" at the time. Negative or positive, good or bad are definitions we give things based on our beliefs, it's not based in reality. Everybody is so worried about everything, stressing out, complaining, being negative, living miserably, and wondering if every single word out of their mouth is politically correct or will offend someone. Why is everyone so fuc%&*! serious? I mean really it doesn’t matter you’re gonna die".

This week’s radio show about unhealthy relationships had a lot of buzz going before we even started and it lived up to the hype with over 14 live callers in 1 hour. Bobby Dhillon was our first caller who offered that past experiences help you learn what you don’t want in a relationship. He then shared some details about a relationship he had that was very volatile but he stayed in it because of the great sex. Make up sex makes you forget a lot of problems short term and the worst the fight the better the sex.

This week’s radio show topic was “How Boring is Your Life”. We discussed how you can create the life you want whenever you choose to (so stop bitching to everyone about how shitty it is and do something about it).

This week’s radio show about limiting beliefs can change your life. I started the show with one of my favorite quotes of all time: Automotive and assembly line industrialist Henry Ford said "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you are right" In my opinion, limiting beliefs are the difference between true success (having exactly what you want) and failure (dying with regrets). Period. Most of our limiting beliefs are installed in our subconscious from childhood through our parents, teachers, peers or any other trusted source. Why is society so messed up?

Before I even get into this week’s episode recap, can someone donate so that Tim and John can get some quality audio equipment? Maybe Radio Shack can become a corporate sponsor or something. They were on air for a total of 1 minute this week, but as Freddie Mercury sang “the show must go on”… This week’s radio show topic was “What are you afraid of?” and the concept of living fearless which is so relevant to everything we are about both on the radio show and the website.

Well, yesterday's radio show tackled a serious subject that is very much relevant right now and that is bullying. Of course we had some laughs when it turned into a Cornett family reunion as Tim's sister Tanya and older brother called in to share their experiences. We talked about how it was always ok to make fun of the fat kid growing up and still is today as adults. Although, we didn't need violence to cope, just a slice of pizza or a cupcake and we were over it.
