I started studying NLP around 1985 and got well and truly hooked by the Phobia cure (as it was then known). Ove rthe next few years I went on the usual run of courses and spent my time being continually amazed at the things people accomplished.
During this period I started putting bits of NLP into the other courses that I used to run (I was a personal Development trainer for a large multinational) until eventually thew wraps came off and, just before I left the company, I ran a basic NLP introduction course.
Then, in 1991 I left and set up, with my old boss, an NLP based training company for both business use and public NLP Trainings. (in the meantime I had take NLP Trainers training.) I continued running courses for this company until I retired in 1997, and went to live in Spain.
I now offer a web site that is about self development using NLP and other methods that is completely free.

Guided Imagery - Prophesy or Imagination?
A long time ago I was one of the trainers on an advanced personal development course which involved a lot of introspection, and one of the things we used to do was called guided imagery. I have just discovered that nowadays it tends to be called a variety of other things mainly to do with meditation, guided meditation, structured meditation etc. The exercise we used to do started with an ordinary relaxation method which you may have heard of: Relax your feet, relax your ankles, relax your knees and so on, all the way up the body.
