I am a Personal and Professional Life Coach with credentials as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from The Coaches Training Institute as well as a Business Mastery Coach with Business Breakthroughs International. I have received additional training from Tony Robbins Research Center as well as America's #1 Success Coach, Jack Canfield, also featured in the movie "The Secret".
I have appeared on Local PAX - TV 99 as a featured speaker, currently have a weekly online colum with Utica Daily News, and monthy featured articles with The National Networker and CEO World Magazine as well as host of my very own weekly Blog Talk Radio Show called "Coaching In The Zone". I have also been apart of numerous leadership and communication seminars across the country. Prior to starting my coaching practice, I spent over 15 years in a corporate setting working in the areas of management, sales, team building and leadership.
As a lifelong learner, I am committed to ongoing education in all aspects of coaching, leadership, business development, and personal growth. I feel it is of the utmost importance to continue to learn and grow daily, both as a person and a coach.
In coaching, my goal is to help you move forward on the agenda you bring to coaching. I want to help you bring out the very best of yourself. My method will be to ask questions, to help you focus, learn, prioritize and motivate yourself to achieve the goals you seek. Obviously, the ultimate responsibility of achieving your goals rests with you.
In our work together we will dance and dream to bring about what is most important to you, the client; giving you tools and techniques to create The Zone you are longing for and learn how to stay in it long term. Every journey in life starts with a single step. When you are ready we will take that step. I would be honored to take that step with you.

Proactive vs Reactive: Which one serves us best?
In order to give insight and value to this article let's define those two words first. Proactive; Acting in advance to deal with an expected change or difficulty . And then Reactive is; Tending to be responsive or to react to a stimulus. Why do I ask which one serves us best? Because how we react to issues and challenges in our lives dictates not only our outcome, but our future as well.

When are you going to do something about it?
As this new year approaches, I am sure their are a million different things I can write about. The idea would be to give you value and ideas to help you jump start 2010 in the right direction. But I am not going to do that. To keep adding value without one taken action is a lost cause. It amazes me time and time again to listen to everyone this time of the year. "Oh this is my year, this year is going to be so different for me." This one is my favorite: “I can't wait for 2009 to be over with, what a horrible year it was.” Question is, why was it a horrible year?

There are many different ideas and research done on this topic and the information is truly shocking when you look at the numbers.

Talent + desire = success
What is the difference betweem talent and desire? I have posed this question to top level executives as well as some of the top coaches in the area and they answers vary from person to person. Some will say that you can't teach talent; others will say there is no replacing desire. Truth be told, I believe they are all right. You see, you can have the most talented player or executive in the world, but with no desire for their team to win or to make the people around them better it is a waste of time, money and energy.

Being a leader is a journey
September 23, 2009 -- I truly believe that leadership is a choice. No one is born a leader. A leader is developed, a leader is groomed and most important of all, a leader is a student. Not just an academic student that is the easy part, no I mean a student of one of the most important things of all......... LIFE!!! The greatest lie ever told is that we should go to school, get a good education, get a job and then you are all set. What an unfortunate way to live by that principle concept alone.
