Dennis has been an award winning salesperson, in and out of the real estate industry. With almost a decade in new home sales and marketing, Dennis has been a successful salesperson, general sales manager, and interactive marketing manager for a national top ten builder. Dennis has received awards and industry attention in each of these positions; most notable were the numerous awards for the innovative use of technology.
Complimenting this experience, Dennis has a tremendous technical background through his work as a web designer, programmer, graphic designer, and video production professional.
Training salespeople to sell online has been a long time passion for Dennis. In the late 1990's Dennis created one of the first Internet sales departments in the automotive industry. After entering real estate, this experience aided in the development of an online sales and follow-up training program for new home salespeople. This and subsequent initiatives resulted in salespeople of all experience levels equipped to successfully communicate with the online buyer.
The uncommon mixture of real-life in-the-field sales, marketing, and sales management experience combined with a tremendous depth of technical knowledge allows Dennis to understand how technology can further the sale - practically and efficiently. It is this strength that allows Dennis to understand how shoppers interact with technology and how the industry can use technology to bring buyers and builders together.
Now a popular keynote speaker on sales, marketing, and social media for homebuilders, Dennis is the author of Sell More Homes Online, the acclaimed book teaching new home salespeople the skills necessary to communicate effectively with the online home shopper. Dennis has been a featured speaker for the Tech Council of Maryland and Home Builders Associations. His articles have been featured in Mid-Atlantic Builder magazine and he has been quoted by the national publication, Builder Magazine.
