Donna Karlin is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the field of leadership coaching and is known for her specialized practice of Shadow Coaching©.
Through her company, A Better Perspective©, Donna has worked with a diverse range of clients from global political, government, corporate and business leaders to medical professionals and creatives. Donna has spent close to 30 years helping leaders figure out how to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
Now, almost three decades later, you will see Donna coach on the run with her clients in many parts of the world through the halls of corporate headquarters, government departments, and agencies and political offices.
In response to widely expressed interest to her highly successful and innovative approach to coaching, she established the School of Shadow Coaching©, a coach training program recognized and accredited by the International Coach Federation. It was designed to meet the current needs being expressed by the community of graduate coaches in support of integration and evolution of their graduate learning.
Donna is Past President and current Dean of the International Consortium for Coaching in Organizations, a member of The Global Leaders, member of the Advisory Board of The Foundation for International Leadership Coaching, and advisor and coach for Brussels, Belgium-based firm INSPIRIT International Communications supporting United Nations and Global Health initiatives.
Donna’s work has been written up in Fast Company magazine, The National Post (Financial Post), The Globe and Mail, The New York Times Business Section, The Boston Globe, and Personal Success magazine. She is an avid blogger; her blog Perspectives™ is subscribed to by readers from 144 countries and territories. She also is a leadership expert for Fast Company, a Platinum Author for Evan Carmichael, Motivation and Strategies for Entrepreneurs, and a contributor to IJCO The International journal of Coaching in Organizations™.
Donna is based in Ottawa, Canada, and coaches, lectures, and does keynotes in many parts of the world.
