Duncan Harte

As a spiritual teacher and healer, Duncan has been professionally supporting people in their spiritual growth and healing since since 1995.

He received his Master's degree from Naropa University, where he specialized in meditation, energy-based healing and expressive arts. Duncan's unique journey began in Africa, where he was born and raised in an extraordinarily multi-faith environment. As a young adult he travelled extensively, including living, working and studying for two years in Kyoto, Japan. A spiritual awakening led Duncan on a pilgrimage through Asia, where he studied meditation in a Thai monastery and Yoga in an ashram in India.

After returning home to Vancouver, BC and continuing to immerse himself in spiritual studies and practice, Duncan went on to teach meditation, spiritual dance classes and dreamwork through Langara College's Centre for Holistic Studies in Vancouver, BC.

Duncan founded Praxis Spiritual Centre in Kelowna, BC in 2002, where he continues to teach advanced programs which combine meditation, healing and expressive arts.

More recently, after witnessing a brain injured family member make a miraculous recovery through brain training technology, Duncan became interested in the brain's role in healing. In 2008, he co-founded BrainWave Optimum Brain Training in Kelowna where he continues to integrate leading-edge technology with meditation and spirituality.

His experience includes teaching meditation for the University of British Columbia, Okanagan and the BC Cancer Agency. Duncan's website The-Auras-Expert.com is growing with over 20,000 unique visitors a month and is now ranking in the Google top ten for over 20 spiritual search terms.
