How It All Began

In Emma's own words...

"I was a single mother living in a little rental house with my daughter. I was cleaning houses to get by, but I knew it was by no means my ultimate calling.

It got to the point where I had a two-year old and there was no way I was going to make ends meet. At one point, I had $2.84 in my checking account and I remember how heartbreaking that was. Especially because I had always known that I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but had no idea what it was that I wanted to do.

I quickly realized that I had to do something. I began scouring the internet to learn how to get more clients for my cleaning service. And eventually, after much trial and error, my cleaning service was filled.

It was meant to be because soo I was able to pay the bills, but I also realized that it was the marketing part of the business that I absolutely loved. My passion had found me.

I soon started Etak Marketing which was a run away success.

Before long, my friends and clients who owned their own businesses wanted to know how they could properly market their own businesses online.

I remember like it was yesterday the morning I received an email from a woman named Elsa. She wanted to know if I offered any seminars or speaking engagements so that she could learn how to market her business. She wasn't interested in having Etak do it for her, she wanted to learn how to do it herself!

And the light bulb went off!

I started teaching women entrepreneurs that very same week and haven't looked back. It is my true passion to teach other women entrepreneurs the ins and outs of modern marketing and to help them succeed...in every way!"
