Of what importance, significance, value is it that the conception is complete and flawlessly all-encompassing? Surely, the desire to mindfully detail the architecture of a conception is human nature in varying degrees; the desire to explain and understand.

Lists are everywhere. We see blogs and ezines even television and music and almanacs. Why do we need them and want them? They may seem bogus at times and completely without some kind of foundation, mostly derived from a basis of opinion rather than any kind of actual statistical fact or figure. But so why the attraction? It can be a way of validating our personal opinions or at least giving ourselves recourse to disagree and even condemn the opinions of others.

Here is the story about an Olympic level athlete who is training as usual for world competition, which they do all those years between the Olympic competitions. She can be of any event because that doesn’t matter in this story. They all must train diligently in focused sometimes-painful practice all of the time pushing and enduring to their maximum. They constantly check their improvement. Maintaining their health in every possible way is a must. They check their food nutrients and calorie intake constantly. They are pursuing excellence.

Would it not be nice to have the feeling of gratitude twenty-four hours a day? Not just the idea or thought, but that feeling of gratitude that makes so many burdens easier to face. Unfortunately, we tend to evaluate others and ourselves continually in our search for better things, better places, and better people. We have these human tendencies. Maybe being human has something to do with it? We think comparatively. We need to be aware non-value and negative things in order to be aware of and have feelings about what we do have.

There are many reasons why we fail to feel good about ourselves. Throughout each day many daily conce s and personal thoughts can lead us into having a good day or a bad one. A lot has to do with how we may be feeling about ourselves. Am I doing the right things. Am I doing what I ought to be doing. Should I be doing this or that. What am I thinking about today? Personal acceptance is the key. At times wanting and desiring perfection or better drives us to a state of inner turmoil. Sometimes there are days that for one reason or another every trivial activity seems to have a burdensome feeling attached. Wondering why, I shrug and think or rather know that it probably has more to do with my attitude. But of course in the moment that helps me not. I remembered a story someone told me about a guy who busying himself weeding and taking care of a vegetable garden, carries on and when he rests later he knows that the weeds and bugs will still be at work against his efforts.

How we take care of our bodies relies in large part by what foods, nutrients,vitamins or supplements we put in. Of course equally valuable to be conce ed about depending on our lifestyle must be to recognize our unhealthy intake habits, like alcohol, caffeine,fried foods, nicotine and tobacco, excess use of over the counter drugsand purely fattening foods and useless calories. Being aware of the unhealthy choices we practice is the first step at being able to augment unhealthy choices with foods or supplements that can reduce (not distinguish) the unhealthy aspects of those too.
