So, how did I become the Women's Envisionary, anyway?

I was born and raised in New Jersey, but I don't really call myself a "Jersey Girl"! I attended public schools and earned my BA in Spanish from Douglass College of Rutgers University. Yes, I do speak Spanish fluently!

My work experience spans over thirty years in both small businesses, large corporations, non-profits, and self-employment. Growing up in a family-owned business, I learned from an early age the ins and outs of the business world. My last position in Corporate American was as a trainer, and I loved creating out-of-the-box training sessions that surprised, entertained, and educated the participants.

It was at my last "regular" job that I was introduced to coaching. I came to feel that something just was not "clicking" at my job, and that I would have to leave unless I could figure out what it was. Then, by "coincidence" I stumbled upon some information about coaching, and one thing led to another. The result was a life-altering coaching experience with a wonderful woman whom I only knew by her voice on the phone, as she lives in the South. I learned just how when your innner world changes-your outer world changes. It was fantastic, and I realized that I wanted to do this for others, and enrolled in a coaching school here in NJ. All of this growth and change made me ready for the shift in my job, and the opportunity to become a trainer and use my creativity was just dropped in my lap. What a great experience that was! I am so grateful for it. Now, I am having a ball working with mid-life women, Boomers- like me, as I help them envision what they want their Wise Woman phase of Life to be all about.

As a woman in my mid-fifties, I feel uniquely qualified to act as the guide, cheerleader, mentor, confidante, and compassionate listener for my clients. I have raised two children to adulthood, have been married for thirty-five years to my high school sweetheart, endured the ups and downs of financial realities in our Life, watched the decline and departure of a parent, survived cancer, supported friends and family members in that experience, and I have come to enjoy the richness and fullness of Life from this vantage point. It has been an awesome ride so far, and I can't wait to see what will happen next!

I am a self improvement "junkie"! Now that the kids are grown and out of the nest, why not take off across the country to attend a seminar, if I want to? And, so I do! I have studied with and been mentored by Bob Proctor, Mike Litman, Stacy Mayo, Cheryl Thompson, Mary Foley, T.Harv Eker, Loral Langemeier, and Joan Borysenko. All of this has helped me to bring new and interesting information and perspectives to my clients.

My ebook,"The Wise Woman's Adventure Guide", offers ideas and advice that I have gained along the way. You will find that on my website. I also offer my subscribers the Wise Woman's Words newsletter with commentary on Life in general, and tips and tricks for specific issues Wise Women face.

The kids may have moved out, but our Life and our home is full anyway. We have three cats, and three family dogs:Cruella, Nancye, and Winnie. Then there is the ever changing experience of raising puppies for the Seeing Eye...THAT keeps us going, trust me!

My kids never know what I will be up to next...and I like it that way! Please join me in this adventure, won't you? I look forward to making your acquaintance!

The Wise Woman phase of Life...

I have bee The Girl, and I have bee The Mother, and both phases of Life were wonderful and challenging in their own ways. Now, in my fifties, I am finding that The Wise Woman in me is blossoming and expanding, and it is an awesome time. I believe that this can and should be true for all women, and my mission is to be the guide and support for other women on this path.

Been there...done that...

Having reached the "wise woman" phase of Life, I believe the I have "been there, and done that, and have the t-shirts to prove it"! We don't get to our 50 something stage without experiencing many of the highs and lows of Life. We are the sum of all of our experiences, the bitter and the sweet, and there is great power and strength to be drawn from them. Lessons have been learned and there is wisdom to be passed on.

Breaking stereotypes and barriers...

That is what we did in the sixties, wasn't it? Why should we be any different now that we are older? Mature women are blazing new trails on every front, and we are totally redefining what it means to be getting older. Let's keep 'em guessing, Ladies!! Who knows what we will be up to next?
