The effect of bipolar disorder to me is best described as being like a very dark cloud appearing suddenly, out of nowhere. The cloud proceeds to engulf a beautiful blue sky. Out of the dark clouds, comes thunder, lightning, and pouring rain. Bipolar disorder in a similar way does the same to human life. One can only hope that with proper treatment, and medication, they may enjoy blue skies again.
