Your body is designed by divine intelligence. Dr. Glen's mission is to seek the truth of what your body already knows... of what your priorities and needs are for optimizing your life-long process of self healing and growth. As a doctor, he recognizes that YOU are the healer. Doctor actually means "teacher", and what he teaches first and foremost is what he learns from listening to your body's calls for help. Dr. Glen also trains practitioners in the methods he has been exploring for several decades.
Dr. Glen's background is ecclectic, starting with degrees from Dartmouth College (Magna Cum Laude in Environmental Sciences including work in Systems Engineering, Physics and Environmental Biology, with honors in Earth Sciences and Chemistry) and the State University of New York (with numerous honors including being named a Nikon Scholar, induction into both Gold Key and Beta Sigma Kappa professional honor societies, and receiving both Optics and Leadership awards, and where he was elected International President of his student doctors' association). After openning his first office in Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Glen practiced in New York, Oregon and Hawaii, as well as serving needy patients in Mexico through the Flying Samaritans (for whom he wrote a ground-breaking series of equations to match patients with the best available donated eyeglasses - an equation later researched at the University of Califo ia at Berkeley). Continuing his search for answers in the healing field, he also completed degrees in Natural Medicine and Divinity, as well as Fellowships in Applied Nutrtition and Light Therapy.
After two years in Japan, founding the Optometric Center of Tokyo, and teaching for the International College of Applied Nutrition, Dr. Glen returned to New York as the Clinical Director of Learning Abilities Associates, a multidisciplinary practice where he replaced Stefan Rechtschaffen, M.D. (founder of Omega Institute) for nutritional medicine, while adding Syntonic phototherapy and biofeedback modalities to the practice. In 1985, he was named Holistic Optometrist of the Year internationally. He has since written over 40 books and monographs in the natural medicine field, with special interests in biocommunication, vision and energy medicine. He has shown up in People Magazine testing one of his famous clients, was featured in Dartmouth Alumni Magazine as one of their top graduates of the past 200 years, along with Daniel Webster (and beating out Dr. Koop in the health field). He has appeared numerous times on talk shows such as the Gary Null Show, and has lectured at healing forums including the Cancer Control Society.
Dr. Glen (aka Glendalf) is currently on a mission to develop The Shire as a sustainable farming and arts community on 90 acres in Hawaii to produce healthy souls and natural medicines from the ground up.

Matter is an expression of divine intelligence, like eddies in the infinite ocean of God's love. The body is divinely intelligent, a gift for our development as viable souls, being birthed in this womb of Heaven. The soul is made of Bose-Einstein Condensates (BEC's) which give the spirit world its remarkable properties of superfluidity (subtlety), non-locality (e.g. bilocation), and consciousness, as well as superconductivity (immortality). Love is the fundamental resonance of coherence (laser-like) that is capable of penetrating through the mundane here and now into the divine beyond. Love is capable of drawing us out beyond the comfort of knowledge and control of our ego, to the Kingdom of Heaven, which is at hand within us.
Health returns in cycles. When going through a healing process or cleansing reaction, remember the motto: "Better out than in!" Trust your body... letting go of health fears allows the kidneys to function without the added stress of F.E.A.R. (False Evidence Appearing Real). Let go of worry, and your spleen will be better able to recycle your red and white blood cells. The best way to transcend stuck emotions is often to reframe the way we are looking at our process. If you are doing good things for your healing and you are going through a rough patch, it is likely that your body is downloading old toxins stored in your tissues. Completing old patterns of incomplete healing brings back old symptoms, though usually for a much shorter time, but getting a toxin out means it is travelling in your bloodstream like it was when you were initially exposed to it, so the symptoms are similar. It can feel like a fever or flu. Rejoyce, even as you rest and focus on fluids (especially alkaline antioxidant microwater), and realize that many people diagnosed with cancer and other degenerative diseases have not had the immune energy to generate a fever or flu reaction in many years. Just relaxing and accepting the body's wisdom to take down time when needed goes a long way to making that journey more comfortable and cozy.
