Ms. Gurmay Fraser-Darlington was born in Guyana, South America. Ms. Darlington lived in New York, Georgia and in North Carolina. Ms. Darlington is a single parent with two children. Ms. Darlington holds a Master's of Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare from Adelphi University.
Ms. Darlington is a Psychotherapist for 21 years; a former Teacher, a Certified Motivational speaker with Les Brown and a bestseller author and is featured in the book The Queens' Legacy. Ms. Darlington is the author of My Journey to Spiritual Restoration. This is an autobiography about her life and how she overcame poverty, abuse, domestic violence and many serious medical death experiences including being poisoned at 3 months old. Ms. Darlington was elected by Cambridge Who's Who as Executive Professional Entrepreneur and Professional of the year 2010- 2011.
Ms. Darlington is a member of Individuals Who Dare to Lead. Ms. Darlington is a sought after speaker and has made several appearances on television, radio stations and women’s groups and has spoken on several topics including an advocate against domestic violence.
