Jackie Burson

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Registered Play Therapist and author of 7 workbooks geared to help children and adolescents. I have over 10 years of experience in the helping profession. I began as a special education teacher and school counselor before starting my private counseling practice. I have my Masters degree in Counseling from Texas Woman’s University and Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University. I enjoy helping others who need some direction in their lives. I work with people of all ages to help them figure out how to maximize their potential by setting attainable goals in order to live a fulfilled life. Some of my expertise includes helping people in the area of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, relationship difficulties, ADD/ADHD, behavior difficulties and divorce.
