Jan Lever

Jan Lever has over 30 years experience in education as well as 7 years experience in private practice as a Counsellor and therapist.

Jan’s 15-year teaching career saw her working in Early Years in America, where she managed, ran and taught both children and their parents in an innovative pre-school project which combined a parenting programme. Initially Primary-trained, Jan has taught across the age-ranges in the UK, and became Head of RE and PSHE in 2 very different secondary schools. She is passionate about improving children and young people’s emotional resilience and mental health, believing this empowers them to maximise their learning opportunities and their life-chances. Jan also writes and delivers programmes to support parents and carers in understanding their children; focussing on relationships, communication, attachment, self-esteem, behaviour and sex and relationships education.
