Jan Vermeiren

Jan is thé expert in Belgium and the rest of Europe when it comes down to networking and referrals.

As the founder of Networking Coach Jan not only provides (key note) presentations, training courses and personal coaching, but also advices organisations how to stimulate networking at their own events and how to integrate networking in their sales and recruitment strategy.

Besides that he is also regularly interviewed about networking and referrals by different media like Belgian national television (De Zevende Dag, Lichtpunt), newspapers, job sites (Vacature.com, Jobat) and the magazines of several Chambers of Commerce.

Jan is the author of the networking books “Let’s Connect!” and "How to REALLY use LinkedIn" and of the networking CD “Let’s Connect at an event!” The book gives you more insights in networking and deals with how to improve your networking on events and on the Internet, whether you are in sales or not. The US version of "Let’s Connect!" reached the Amazon best seller list on October 9, 2007 with a number 2 position in marketing books and number 9 in management books. This made Jan the first Belgian author to reach this position. On March 17, 2009 the book "How to REALLY use LinkedIn" did even better with a number 1 position in "Sales & Selling" and a number 2 position in "Job Hunting & Careers".

Jan and his team are hired by large international companies like Alcatel, Belgacom, Deloitte, DuPont, IBM, ING, Nike, SAP and Sun Microsystems as well as by small companies and freelancers.

Jan is member of PSA Holland (Professional Speakers Association Holland) and IFFPS (International Federation for Public Speakers). He is a well known networking speaker and referral speaker. According to HR Tribune he is one of Belgium's top 10 speakers.
