Empower Yourself by Healing Emotions

One of the most significant ways you can empower your life is by validating your emotions. Most people are never taught how to process emotions. As children, parents often teach their children to suppress, ignore, or reject them. They may respond to their kid’s emotions by saying “big boys/girls don’t cry you should be ashamed of yourself, or you shouldn’t feel that way.” When parent rejects the child’s emotions they’re programming the child to deny, suppress, and ignore emotions.
