Janaka Stagnaro

Twenty years ago Janaka was honored to be the tarot reader and spiritual counselor at the famous Bodhi Tree Bookstore in Hollywood. This was the start of his professional spiritual counseling career. For 5 years he gave literally thousands of readings. For nearly 30 years Janaka has been a spiritual practitioner of both East and West. He has studied most world religions and is familiar with many contemporary systems of beliefs. Major influences include: Ramana Maharshi, ACIM, Rudolf Steiner, and a whole host of others. When he works with a client he approaches the relationship without judgment, without an idea that there is something to fix. The transcendental I AM is already perfect, and his role is to help or guide the client to connect in Awareness with that Perfect Beingness. Then, out of that unconditional place of Love, areas that may need healing or more development may be worked upon. Janaka sees this working together as a creative partnership, when “two or more are gathered together” to bring more light and healing into the world. Janaka is the author of two books: "Silent Ripples: Parables for the Soul" and "Footprints Along the Shore of an Incoming Tide." He is also a Waldorf teacher, storyteller and artist.
