Jason Bussell

Jason Bussell is President Emeritus of the Illinois Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine; and is a member of the Board of Acupuncture for the Illinois State Government. He earned his Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine with Honors from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Additionally, he completed an advanced course of training and clinical internship at the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and their affiliated hospitals. Jason recently became one of the first Americans to receive a PhD in acupuncture from the prestigious Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

Jason is author of The Asian Diet: Simple secrets for eating right, losing weight, and being well published by Findho Press (http://www.theasiandiet.com), and has written articles for Eastern and Western profesional medical publications. He is also a speaker and teacher, having presented to groups of doctors, medical students, nurses, physical therapists, dentists, Cancer Wellness Centers, hospice healthcare providers, and the general public. Jason has been interviewed on nationally syndicated radio shows about his book and his knowledge of Oriental Medicine.

Jason founded A Center for Oriental Medicine in Wilmette Illinois, where he practices with his wife Jeanie. He is a generalist; which means that he treats all types of disorders; but he has a special interest and training in Oncology, Pediatrics, and Sports Medicine.
