I am Jason Tivis, CFT and I am the co-owner of Team Tivis Consulting; which is a physical design and personal consulting organization out of Chandler, AZ.
Briefly, in my early twenties, I fell off the fitness wagon for a period of time. Then I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease that nearly cost me my way of life. I re-dedicated my life to a wellness-based existence and now I can say the disease has disappeared...which is stumping my doctors because there supposedly is no cure!
I constantly read and travel to attend fitness and wellness lectures and seminars and currently hold a CFT certification through the ISSA; as well as Precision Cuisine, Muscle Mastery, and Wellness Coaching certifications through NY Strength and their Center for Strength. I also hold a degree in psychology as well as a total of 9 physical design based certifications.
Our mission is To break down the barriers between you and the life you want by providing manageable and comprehensive physical, mental, and spiritual programs that put you in control. we teach you how to control your fears and use them to your advantage, how to properly breathe and center yourself to manage stress; and how to exercise using resistance training with proper form and technique. No gimmicks, no guesswork. Only truth, science, and success!

Is Pride the TRUE #1 Killer of Americans?
Frank is walking up and down the aisle at his home tow Superstore impatiently waiting for his wife to hurry up and pick a purse. The game is coming on in a half hour and he still needs time to set up the den for the fellas to come over, and he STILL has to make the nachos. She said this was only going to take a half an hour, an hour and a half ago. On top of everything else, he’s been feeling a little off lately. There are times he feels a little dizzy and has had a little chest tightness, but stress will do that to you. And neither one of his parents had heart issues when they died.

16 Easy Tips for Looking And Feeling Your Best
1. In the beginning, your fitness plan should not be overly aggressive. One of the biggest problems most people encounter when starting a fitness program is rapidly depleted motivation after only a few weeks due to an overly ambitious fitness plan. Two days per week of 20-minute low-intensity cardiovascular exercise (walking, jogging, biking, swimming); and two days per week of 30-minute light resistance training (using weights or resistance machines) is adequate in the beginning. As you become acclimated to the lifestyle “shift” you can add more days and get improved results.

Feeling the Flow
I've noticed throughout the past couple of years (and it's no secret that) as members of the "westernized" world, we put far more emphasis on fighting things than we do trying to work with them...As opposed to Eastern philosophies that teach flow and working with a situation rather than trying to fight it. When I say we fight, I mean we fight to stay healthy, we fight our mental illnesses, and saddest of all, we fight each other; because that's what we have been taught.
