Jennifer Abbott has been fascinated by both human and animal psychology for as long as she can remember. She has spent a large part of her adult life studying the cognitive mind in both formal and informal training. Her biggest fascinations with the mind is why people do the things they do or act the way they act, the power of positive thinking, and learning how to use the power of the mind to create the life you want – whether that simply be peace and happiness or if you want to go big.

After going through one of the only programs known that actually addresses the root cause for unhappiness, depression and addictions, Abbott decided it was time that everyone has the opportunity to know this information. Abbott is now a teacher of these principles and shows people how to develop the attitudes and skills necessary to remove all emotional pain permanently and how to live a happy peaceful life.

In her quest for answers to many of life’s questions she found many books that taught the power of the cognitive mind and how to train it. After much research she makes available all of the classics on personal growth and success on her website www.empoweredreader, saving everyone time and energy of finding the books with the real information, not just fluff. At Principles for Peace she discusses many of the principles needed to live that life of peace and happiness in the relaxing environement of an online bookstore and coffee shop.

Abbott's focus is on teaching the principles of happiness and success, not just on giving advice. The truth (principles) always stands and works no matter what, while advice is something that may or may not work. The difference can be huge. This is the foundation of all her teaching.
