Dr. Walker has been involved in martial and healing arts for more than 30 years under the expert hands and watchful eyes of martial arts greats such as his teacher, Grandmaster Leon Trescott, El Bey, in addition to Grandmaster Ren Guang Yi of The International Chen Style Taijiquan Association; Master FaXiang Hou of the QiGong Research Society and Grandmaster Jiang Jian-ye of the Health Preservation Association. He has been heavily influenced by private studies with the late great renowned Grandmasters Liang Tung Tsai and Jou Tsung Hwa.

As an accomplished martial arts practitioner, he has been inducted into several national and international Halls of Fame as well as been awarded the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition Community Service Award for his work with Tai Chi for senior citizens. As a master of the martial arts, he has created a philosophical style in the arts specializing in Taiji Quan that emphasizes the utility of self-defense to create health-defense and improve the quality of life for oneself and others, otherwise known as "Wu Xing Chuan Tao" (Way of the Invisible Fist).

Combining his expert skills, talents and experiences in self-defense and health-defense, he has created a unique and innovative manner in teaching martial arts. His methodology directs one’s learning capabilities toward self-management using martial skills to capitalize on personal growth and development of the mind, body and spirit. Ironically, this was the intent of "traditional" martial artists as opposed to today’s more popular development of "martial combatants or athletic skills."

As a skilled and talented martial artist, a healthcare advocate and practitioner of traditional and alte ative/complimentary modalities, and hypnotherapist, Dr. Walker is able to deliver a strong case for achieving personal empowerment and success in one’s life. His multicultural heritage enhances his ability to appeal to many audiences.

Dr. Walker has worked with people from many different paths in life helping them achieve their goals and attain success in their lives. He has participated in a research project at the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging, at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, School of Osteopathic Medicine regarding the effects of Tai Chi in Alzheimer cases. He is on the North American Advisory Committee for the China Martial Arts Historical Society and a co-creator of World Tai Chi & QiGong Day. See more at www.qissagebodysystems.org.

He has solicited support from many NJ mayors, the NJ Senate and General Assembly and Governors for many years. He has been featured in major newspapers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Central to Southern New Jersey.

Most recently, Dr. Walker has released his first book, "Does That Make Sense?" Everyone's Guide to Personal Empowerment and Success. This interactive, no-frills, thought provoking book is written in a compact, direct and to-the-point style. With highlights on simplicity, it packs a punch and drives home the importance of self-empowerment.

In May 2011, Dr. Walker was awarded the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition Community Leadership Award for his extensive work bringing Tai Chi to senior citizens as an active program in keeping fit and healthy.
