Jurgen has degrees from Stanford University and Califo ia State University at San Francisco, and was an English Speaking Union scholar at Oxford. He is also an NLP practitioner and hypnotherapist.
His books include "Your Writing Coach" (Nicholas Brealey Publishing, 2007), "Do Something Different - Creative Marketing Techniques" (Virgin Books, 2005 and in editions in China, Spain, Korea and others), and "Successful Scriptwriting" (with Kerry Cox, Writers Digest Press). His next book is "Focus," a right-brain approach to time management to be published by Pearson in May 2008.
He has written more than 100 produced episodes of television, including the miniseries "Midnight Man," starring Rob Lowe, and nine episodes of "Relic Hunter" starring Tia Carrere. He created the original animated series, "Norman Normal," and wrote the feature film, "The Real Howard Spitz," starring Kelsey Grammer.
Jurgen teaches writing, creativity, and time management workshops in the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, South Africa, and around the world. He regularly leads workshops for the Academy for Chief Executives.
He divides his time betwee Great Britain and the United States and speaks extensively in both countries.
