It's all about being happy--isn't it?
When I'm coaching someone to be more skilled in their relationships, have more commitment to their creative awesome health, or be more of an expert in working their finances, the outcome is always to be happier.
So why not just start with that?
Recent studies show that happiness can be taught. Even though we have a predispositioned happiness 'set point" that determines about half of our happiness, the REST we can create.
How?
By setting down new pathways in the brain that will create news ways of thinking and feeling.So, instead of running around out there trying to create well-being through your circumstances, you can learn how to do that yoruself through some specific tools and techniques. That means you can change negative and energy-sucking habits, thoughts and emotions to postive, life enhancing ones AT WILL!! Isn't that the ultimate freedom? To be able to create yourself happy anytime, anywhere through your own skill set?

Meditation and Happiness

Davidson, PhD, who teaches at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, has been using brain imaging to "map" the brain of people while they were meditating.
